Granted an embassy within the Shroud by the city state, the Desert Sapphire company is a group of freedom fighters who conduct operations based on helping the various city states, nations, and organizations across Hydaelyn in their struggle against the Garlean Empire.
Their operations involve them with the Dalmascan Resistance front, Bozja, Doma, and even Ishgard. Some missions require a more direct approach and other missions remain within the shadows. As long as their aid is requested then they will dedicate their resources.
Combat
The DSC has been involved in numerous operations which brought them into direct contact with various forces. Primarily this has involved Garlemald, although there have been bouts with the Ishgardian Temple Knights, sky pirate crews, mystical beings and more.
Research
The current biggest major plot points within the DSC are currently Auracite and Synthetic Auracite. DSC dedicates quite a bit of their resources to gathering the mystical stones and containing them, ensuring they won't be used for malicious purposes.
Furthermore, the DSC also dedicates an extensive amount of resources towards their airship development, Allagan research, collaborations with Garlond Ironworks and more... As long as it helps with their cause there isn't anything they wouldn't research.
Exploration & Negotiation
With their operations expanding on a daily basis, the DSC has declared it necessary to scout out various areas and nations to allow for their continued operations should any of their bases be attacked.
Whether it's just to expand their own influence or to help nations or different companies explore various landing fronts to establish a base of operations which in turn would end up benefitting us, the DSC would not mind travelling to dangerous fronts and digging deep into enemy lines to secure a path to move forward.
